Dimitri Ashkenazy and Anton Kholodenko are the soloists in the concerts by Carl Maria von Weber and Max Bruch. Dimitri Ashkenazy (born October 8, 1969 in New York City) is an Icelandic clarinetist living in Switzerland. He is the son of pianist and conductor Vladimir Ashkenazy and has toured Europe with him, as well as performing under him with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra. Ukranian violist Anton Kholodenko is best known for his recordings of JS Bach. He leads a busy performing career, both in solo recitals and in chamber ensembles.
